Looking for Mixologist Bartenders and Experienced Waitress Position Barquila Tapas Cocktail Lounge 308 Mamaroneck Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY 10543 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, including banquets, nightclubs, and fine dining establishments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Your ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle food service duties as needed, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations. Operate the Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal guidelines regarding alcohol service. Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events as required. Requirements Previous bartending experience in the food industry is preferred; experience in banquet or nightclub settings is a plus. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Must possess valid food handling certification or be willing to obtain one upon hiring. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
