Part-time Server/Bartender Hawk Mountain Brewery 3530 Lehigh Street, Whitehall Township, PA 18052 Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, collaborative server providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced brewery environment. As a counter service server, you will be responsible for pouring beer, wine, mixed drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Work quickly to provide drinks and process food orders during high volume peaks while maintaining a friendly and welcoming experience for every customer. Learn the tastes and ingredients of craft beer to discuss, pair and engage with beer enthusiasts. Information and training will be provided. Intake and stay up to date on information provided by management for new rotating drafts, seasonal drinks, POS and process changes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Process orders efficiently using the POS system, ensuring accurate billing and payment handling. Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and address any inquiries or concerns. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling practices. Requirements Exceptional communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage customers positively. Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to support other server and kitchen staff in a highly collaborative, tip-sharing team environment. Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
