Bartender 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Blue Bell, PA 19422 Cedarbrook Country Club is hiring for part-time restaurant and banquet bartenders! We are looking for passionate, hard-working and experienced bartenders to serve our membership and guests. We are looking to hire ASAP- apply today! Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Greets our members and guests with enthusiasm and professionalism. Provide food and drink recommendations. Accurately takes food and beverage drink orders in a timely manner using our POS system NorthStar. Process payments and member charges. Be knowledgeable in current drink trends and assist management with drink specials as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Maintain inventory and keep the bar well-stocked with necessary supplies including glasses, mixers, alcohol, fruit, garnishes etc. Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the service of alcohol as well as club policies. Assist with setting up and breaking down bar areas for events, potentially including moving equipment and servicing guests as needed. Effectively communicate with other staff members to ensure smooth service. Complete opening and closing side work duties. Verify guest identification and age requirements. Maintain safety and sanitation requirements. Other responsibilities as requested by management. Bartender skills : Positive and Friendly attitude Experience in serving and food safety practices Able to work well with others in team-oriented environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills A working knowledge of wine, beer, and classic cocktails Ability to multitask and move with a sense of urgency Excellent time management skills and ability to drive sales Ability to be on feet for 8-12 hours per day Ability to work holidays throughout the year Ability to work on weekends and nights Must be able to lift 50 lbs. minimum Prior experience in the restaurant or food industry Must be RAMP certified or get certified within a month of starting
