The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and cash registers. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable. Uphold all health and safety regulations while working in the bar area. Skills Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers for efficient transaction processing. Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change giving. Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Experience in nightclub or bar settings is preferred, with knowledge of cocktail preparation techniques. Sales skills to promote special drinks or events effectively. Background in hospitality or catering is a plus, enhancing the overall guest experience. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous bartending experience is highly desirable, showcasing familiarity with drink recipes and service standards.
