Lewisberry, PA 17339 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced nightlife environment. The bartender plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar area is clean, stocked, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hospitality setting and are eager to learn about the beverage service industry. 5 days per week, Sunday through Thursday. One friday or Saturday rotating. 4pm-9pm/11pm Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Assist other bartender by restocking supplies, such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to assist with order processing as needed. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth service during busy shifts. Support special events such as banquets and catering services by preparing the bar area and assisting with setup. Handle food safely and adhere to all food handling guidelines to maintain health standards. Assist in managing inventory levels and report any shortages or issues to management. Requirements Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment, particularly during peak hours in nightclubs or events. Knowledge of basic food handling practices is an advantage. Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about bar operations and cocktail preparation are essential.
