Bartender VFW Post 10256 104 Stephanie Drive, Goose Creek, SC 29445 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join as part of our Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teamwork and customer service, with the ability to create great experiences for our patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing/serving beverages, making/serving limited food items, maintaining a clean Canteen area, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Prepare and serve food from a limited menu. Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Canteen area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle Point of Sale transactions accurately, processing payments and managing tabs efficiently. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food service industry. Familiarity withPoint of Sale operations and retail math for accurate transaction processing. Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications or licenses related to alcohol service. Must be bondable.
