Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and charismatic Bartender to join our dynamic team at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. As a Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in providing our guests with an unparalleled bar experience. Your expertise in mixology, dedication to luxury service, and attention to detail will contribute to enhancing our reputation as a premier resort destination.

Pay Rate:

The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Qualifications:

Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or luxury hotel/resort environment is highly preferred. Exceptional knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and other beverages. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and polished demeanor. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of resort-style service and the ability to anticipate and meet guest needs in a luxury setting. Certification in responsible alcohol service (TIPS or equivalent) is preferred.

Craft Exceptional Cocktails:

Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, wines, and beverages that meet the standards of a five-star luxury resort, ensuring consistency and excellence in every drink.

Guest Experience:

Provide impeccable service to guests, including personalized recommendations and creating memorable experiences through superior hospitality.

Luxury Service Standards:

Maintain the highest level of professionalism, courtesy, and hospitality at all times. Uphold Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s reputation for elegance and luxury.

Bar Management:

Maintain an organized and clean bar environment, ensuring all supplies are stocked and all equipment is in working order. Handle cash and process transactions accurately.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the food and beverage team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Knowledge & Innovation:

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mixology and beverage offerings, continually enhancing your skills and contributing creative ideas to our menu.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations, including alcohol service standards and sanitation procedures.

Essential Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds across short-medium distance. Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements. Must be able to stand for entirety of shift while bending, stretching, and lifting.
