Waitress/Server/Bartender Goat Island Restaurant & Lounge 9645 Wash Davis Rd, Summerton, SC 29148 Goat Island Restaurant & Lounge is hiring part-time servers and bartenders to join our team right on beautiful Lake Marion. We’re a family-owned, fast-paced waterfront restaurant with a fun and friendly crowd—especially on weekends. If you’re upbeat, reliable, and ready to work in a high-volume, tip-driven environment, we’d love to have you on board. Experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person with a great attitude.

Know This Before You Apply:

The restaurant is on Lake Marion in Summerton , so reliable transportation is required. Shifts are mostly evenings and weekends , with our busiest times being Friday and Saturday nights. You must be able to stand for long hours , carry trays, and stay calm during busy rushes. Must be comfortable learning a POS system , handling cash/card payments, and remembering menu items. You’ll need to check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly (bartenders must be 21+). We’re a tight-knit, hands-on team —you’ll help out wherever needed, from running food to wiping tables. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are non-negotiable—we serve regulars, boaters, and tourists with Southern hospitality. Expect busy nights with DJ events, karaoke, and live music , especially during summer.
