As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy periods will be key to your success in this role. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in setting up the bar for service before opening hours and closing down at the end of the shift. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred, with a focus on bartending or catering roles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and making change accurately. Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairings is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
