Bartender Pawleys Back Deck Pawleys Island, SC 29585 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will create memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service and crafting high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Experience in various settings such as banquets, nightclubs, and fine dining is highly valued. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drink selections. Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems. Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods. Uphold food handling standards to ensure safety and quality in beverage preparation. Requirements Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting is preferred. Knowledge of mixology techniques and drink recipes. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with food handling practices to maintain hygiene standards. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be at least 21 years old as per legal requirements for serving alcohol. Spoton POS experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
