Bartender/Server Spring Hill Suites 140 Wall Street, Camden, SC 29020 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service will be key to your success in this role. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is an advantage. Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency; familiarity with retail math is beneficial. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safe beverage preparation.
