What will you be doing? To summarize you will be reporting to the Managers on site, instructing our guests in the ways of the Axe Throw, serving craft and domestic beers and seltzers, and overall providing a high quality entertaining experience. For the full list of responsibilities see below; You will be ensuring that customers receive a high quality, safe and entertaining experience. You will be instructing groups on the art of Axe Throwing, giving tips on how to throw throughout. You will be managing tournaments, including scoring, interacting with groups, announcing winners, and generally ensuring everyone is having an amazing time. You will need to use power tools safely to maintain and replace targets. You will be expected to inform the Manager of safety, performance or other issues in the venue. You will serve alcohol–applicant and prospective hire must be at least 21 years of age. You will be preparing the venue and lanes for events, everything from checking axes to sweeping the floors. You will ensure that all company procedures and safety policies are followed at all times. You could have other duties assigned to you as needed, including but not limited to helping with social media, checking email/voicemail, or working as a front counter operator or bartender. Who are we looking for? Someone with the confidence to coordinate groups of people Someone with a license to serve alcohol or the ability to obtain one– Applicant and prospective hire MUST BE at least 21 years of age. Someone with previous experience of axe throwing, or an interest to learn Someone with great customer and professional communication skills The ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions in English Someone who has or is willing to obtain a First Aid certification The ability to use power tools to replace and maintain targets Able to work in a physically demanding environment and be on their feet a lot. Someone who has or is willing to obtain a First Aid certification What are we offering? For this we are offering a good starting wage of $10/hr plus any tips you make.
