Summary:

Under general supervision, this position opens and closesthe hotel KitchenBar following Company policies and procedures.

This position is responsible for maintaining the food prep andhotel bar area in a clean, well-organized manner while serving andassisting guests. It is important that this team member present ahigh standard of integrity, service, and hospitality at all timesto promote the Drury culture with customers and fellow teammembers. Has general knowledge of the hotel, area, and events toanswer questions.

Required Qualifications:

Must be 21 years old orolder. One experience bartending required. Two or more years ofbartender experience preferred. A high school diploma orequivalent. Completion of two years of college preferred. Abilityto obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per Companyrequirements. Ability to take written and verbal direction inEnglish and communicate effectively in English. Ability to mix andserve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment.

Performs duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server orother positions as needed. Ability to handle money, make change andutilize office machines in normal day-to-day activities. Ability tooperate machines and equipment used, including but not limited to,cash register, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment, etc.

Excellent customer service skills; ability to communicateeffectively with guests and all levels of team members; ability todiplomatically deal with difficult situations and people whileexhibiting a consistent level of professionalism including barguests and when leading other team members. Ability to open andclose bar, obtain all supplies necessary for mixing cocktails, andclean and maintain areas for which responsible.
