Overview:
As a Barback, you will be responsible for ensuring the bar is fully stocked, organized, and operating smoothly throughout service. Your role will involve supporting bartenders, keeping the bar area clean and tidy, and ensuring all guests receive top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities:
Refill liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies throughout the shift. Keep the bar area clean and organized, ensuring that bartenders have everything they need to serve guests efficiently. Stock glassware, napkins, straws, and other bar essentials to ensure smooth operations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies when necessary. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down counters, cleaning spills, and disposing of trash. Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, glassware, and other preparations for drink service. Support bartenders during busy service times by ensuring they have everything they need to keep the bar running smoothly. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning the bar and organizing supplies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a barback or similar support role is preferred, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (such as kegs or crates).
