As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a passion for customer service, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area. As a Barback, you will be responsible for all bartenders needs during a shift. You will be tipped out from the bartenders each shift. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers/bartenders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding order status and special requests. Support catering events by setting up and breaking down food stations as needed. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Change kegs, restock beer/alcohol, & putting deliveries away. Skills Strong background in customer service with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry . Experience in hospitality settings, particularly in roles related to food service or catering . Not required but encouraged. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Familiarity with bartending dos and don’ts is a plus, enhancing your ability to assist with beverage service when needed. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively interact with guests and team members. A proactive attitude towards teamwork, ensuring collaboration with kitchen staff and servers for seamless operations.
