Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections. Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely service during busy periods. Monitor customer consumption and adhere to responsible serving practices. Assist with catering events and banquets as needed, contributing to the overall success of the service. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Requirements Proven experience in bartending or food service is preferred; experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. A passion for sales and promoting drink specials or new menu items is highly desirable.
