The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is fully stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to learn the art of bartending while providing excellent customer service. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all surfaces are clean and free of clutter. Help with the setup and breakdown of the bar before and after shifts. Operate cash registers for transactions as needed, ensuring accurate handling of cash and credit payments. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and assisting them with their needs. Support the team during busy periods by helping to serve drinks and deliver orders promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events or banquets to ensure smooth service flow. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with bartending practices or willingness to learn is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
