Barback, Busser, and Food Runner CRU Lounge Memphis 1532 Madison Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner and Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the food industry. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all orders are complete and presented correctly before serving to guests. Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas and bar, including cleaning tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining atmosphere for guests. Skills Experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant settings, is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of catering services can be beneficial for special events or large parties. A commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards in food handling and preparation.
