9am-5:30pm (Shift subject to change based on business needs) The Hotel House Attendant performs an array of tasks that make guests feel welcome and important, most notably by maintaining clean corridors, delivering guest request items and restocking supplies/equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Projects a positive image
Greets all guests passing in corridors
Delivers guests’ requested items
Vacuums corridors daily, spotting carpets as necessary
Re-stocks supplies in housekeeping storage closets
Administers dirty and clean linen and terry items
Loads glassware into washers as needed
Transports trash from room attendant’s carts
Recovers lost-and-found items
Keeps corridors and stairwells free from dust and debris
Disseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc.
Reports maintenance issues
Performs routine maintenance on vacuum cleaner
Keeps storage areas and carts clean and orderly
Works safe by observing safety rules and wearing proper equipment
Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

(please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying) High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older

    Must be able to lift and carry up to seventy-five (75) lbs
    Ability to work in areas containing dust or on high floor; occasionally kneels, climbs and crawls to work in difficult positions
    Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
    Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
    Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
    Must be able to operate standard office equipment•phones, computers, etc.

Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness test
Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
