Wednesday & Thursday Job Summary:

We are seeking a personable and efficient Bellman to join our team at AC & Element Miami DT Hotels. The Bellman is an essential part of our guest services team, responsible for providing a warm welcome and exceptional service to our guests upon their arrival and departure. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to guest satisfaction, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Assistance:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive and depart. Offer assistance with luggage and personal belongings.

• Luggage Transportation:

• Safely transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.

• Information Provider:

• Answer questions and provide information about the hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.

• Maintaining Areas:

• Keep the lobby and bell area clean and organized. Ensure that luggage carts and other equipment are properly maintained.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with other hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure efficient operations and to fulfill guest requests.

• Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety and security procedures, including lifting techniques and handling of guest property.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry, is a plus.

• Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy luggage (50 lbs or more), stand for long periods, and navigate stairs and other surfaces.

• Availability:

• Must be available to work on Wednesday and Thursday, with flexibility to cover additional shifts if necessary.

• Professional Appearance:

• Must maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
