- Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bellman to join our team at a prestigious hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. The Bellman will be the first point of contact for many guests, and as such, must possess excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Duties
- Welcome guests and assist with luggage, bell services, and other related tasks.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests, including answering questions about the hotel and its amenities.
- Utilize hotel technology, including phone systems, to communicate effectively with guests and internal departments.
- Conduct night audits to ensure the hotel’s safety and security protocols are being followed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and hospitality management, to ensure a cohesive and welcoming environment for guests.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
- Possess a strong understanding of hospitality management principles and practices.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and be able to handle phone calls efficiently.
- Experience
- Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality management role is highly desirable.
- Experience with hotel technology, including phone systems, is essential.
- Prior experience in guest relations and services is necessary.
- Experience with night audit procedures is a significant asset.
- Proficiency in bilingual language skills is an advantage.
