Status:

Seasonal (June to September),

Full-time, Non-Exempt Responsibility:

Medium supervision needed. Moderate level of operational decision making.

Reports to:

Head Lifeguard & Guest Services Manager.

  • Walk and stand for extended periods of time.

Bend, reach, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Work Conditions:

Level 5

  • Mostly outdoors, working in hot environments (often exceeding 85 degrees), variable schedule based on business demands.
Duties:

Service-oriented team member to assist in Club recreation operation. Team members will be responsible for daily set-up & break-down of beach lounge equipment. Providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to all guests, working closely with other team members to achieve daily tasks. Ensures that workstation is clean at all the times. Keep chairs and tables clean and clear of debris. Anticipate guest needs. Sign all guests and members in. Adhere to all the opening and closing duties. Adhere to all private beach rules and regulations. Ensure all beach furniture is neatly arranged and cleaned as well. Provide guests with water, towels, and chairs services. Open all umbrellas, clean tabletops, and wipe off all chairs. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description. Professionally and courteously handle member or guest concerns and complaints, informing the Guest Services Manager and Head Lifeguard. Insure that all member and guest requests are communicated to the proper departments through established procedures. Provide for all members and guests, and instill in the staff, the need for extraordinary personal service through attention to detail, quality communication and follow through. Be familiar with and follow the Club’s emergency procedures and be prepared to handle an emergency if one arises. Represent the Club in the highest standard possible both on and off property. Ability to lift, push and pull required load (Ability to lift from 25-50 pounds) Other related duties as assigned.
