- Seasonal (June-September) position located in Phippsburg, Maine.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about customer service, loves guests, and knows how to bring the fun. Work Performed As a member of our Activities team, you will be responsible for running daily activities for guests, advising guests on onsite activities, and building rapport to ensure they have an excellent stay. Plan and run activities for onsite guests with excellent customer service Follow the monthly calendar of events and activities and effectively communicate the schedule across resort departments Welcome guests upon arrival to scheduled events Taking inventory of current games/supplies and ordering what is needed Set up and break down of scheduled events Build rapport with guests and provide them with support and guidance Understand guest needs and provide them with suggested activities, services, and amenities provided by the hotel Enforce established safety rules and policies as they pertain to our activities Perform duties as outlined in the training procedures, following standard operating procedures Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management Requirements Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times Must be responsible and be able to work independently Possess good communication and organizational skills to work with a team Ability to learn applicable software systems High school education or equivalent experience Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work outdoors in inclement or hot weather Ability to lift/push up to 30 lbs Must be able to work independently Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location Hours required: Part Time 25-32 hours per week for various shifts Proficiency in the English language Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities Creative ideas how to bring more joy to guests Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French Compensation $16 Hourly Benefits Optional 401k with employer match Employee discounts at participating hotels Option to sign up for on-demand pay with DailyPay Refer a friend
