Bellman Sanctuary Hotel 132 West 47th Street, New York, NY 10036 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Bellman to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued during their stay. As a Bellman, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and enhancing the overall guest experience at our hotel or resort. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling to their rooms. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth transition. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance areas. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest needs efficiently. Help guests with transportation arrangements, including taxis or shuttle services. Ensure that all luggage is securely stored when not in use and delivered promptly upon request. Skills Strong guest services skills with a passion for hospitality management. Experience in night audit processes is a plus. Familiarity with hotel operations and procedures is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests. Proficient in using phone systems and maintaining proper phone etiquette when interacting with guests. Excellent interpersonal skills to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
