This position is seasonal, and would start in May and go through September. Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the summer season. Holiday hours will vary. Weekend Beach Security Attendant Ensure a safe and tranquil environment for authorized users of the beach. Resolves complaints regarding safety and security matters. Greet and check in guests, in a pleasant and professional manner Ensure that only authorized users are given access to the beach area Maintain the beach area Enforce safety rules Monitor the Kayak program – checking the equipment is functioning properly. Answer guests’ questions and provide solutions when available Weekend availability Reliable transportation

Qualifications :

Must be at least 18 years of age High School diploma/GED Strong communication and listening skills Reliable transportation Promptness, professionalism with patrons, and reliability High level of responsibility Exbibit patience and respect toward patrons at all times. Ability to work well on a team Problem solving skills Physical requirements: ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods of time, work outside in different weather conditions
