Responsibilities include:

Greet guests and inform them of propertyamenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas ofinterest and activities. Open doors and assist guests/visitorsentering and leaving property. Assist with luggage storage andretrieval. Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/ordesignated bell area. Assist guests/visitors in and out ofvehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloadingluggage. Supply guests with directions. Arrange transportation(e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus) for guests/visitors, and recordadvance transportation request as needed. Dispatch bell staff orvalet staff as needed. Communicate parking procedures toguests/visitors. Follow up with guests to ensure their requests orproblems have been met to their satisfaction. Serve as adepartmental role model, and assist management in hiring, training,scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating andcoaching employees.. Develop and maintain positive workingrelationships with others. Follow all company policies andprocedures; and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe workconditions to manager. Maintain awareness of undesirable persons onproperty premises. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are cleanand professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietaryinformation. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate andaddress guests’ service needs, assist individuals withdisabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speakwith others using clear and professional language, and answertelephones using appropriate etiquette. Comply with qualityassurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for anextended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift,carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to50 pounds without assistance.
