The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires effective communication and teamwork to support the kitchen staff and enhance the dining experience for our customers. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in orders. Assist cooks with food preparation, including plating dishes and ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods. Adhere to food safety and handling standards to ensure a safe dining experience for all customers. Support banquet operations as needed, assisting with setup, service, and breakdown of events. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with culinary terms and food preparation techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with both kitchen staff and guests. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices is highly desirable.
