Busser/Server Assistant The Shack Riverfront Restaurant and Tiki Bar 4845 Dixie Highway NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser/server assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that tables are properly set and maintained throughout the meal service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Help with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Provide support during catering events, ensuring all food service needs are met. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests for assistance. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members. Experience in catering or hotel settings is a plus.
