Position Summary:
The Courtyard by Marriott Coral Springs is seeking a personable and dependable Bistro Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a welcoming and satisfying dining experience to our guests. The Bistro Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages in accordance with Marriott standards, maintaining cleanliness and food safety protocols, and providing exceptional customer service. Shifts range from early morning to late nights
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and interact with guests in a warm, courteous manner, taking food and beverage orders and offering menu suggestions. Prepare and serve Starbucks® coffee, breakfast, light meals, and evening cocktails in accordance with brand guidelines. Ensure all food and beverages are handled and stored safely, following ServSafe procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, equipment, and dining areas throughout your shift. Operate POS system efficiently for order entry and payment processing. Restock supplies and assist in inventory management as needed. Address guest concerns or special requests promptly and professionally. Work scheduled shifts including weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays.
Qualifications:
ServSafe Food Handler Certification is required. Prior experience in a fast-paced food service or hospitality environment preferred. Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and multitask efficiently. Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
