Breakfast Attendant Beach Hotels of Jacksonville 2580 Mayport Road, Jacksonville, FL 32233 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable breakfast experience for our guests. You will prepare and serve breakfast items, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and provide exceptional guest services to create a positive start to each guest’s day. Duties Prepare and set up breakfast items in accordance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, utensils, and food stations. Assist guests with their breakfast selections, ensuring all items are fresh and appealing. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register. Communicate effectively with guests to address any inquiries or special requests. Follow proper food preparation techniques, including meat cutting and knife skills as needed. Utilize OpenTable or similar systems for managing guest seating or reservations when applicable. Ensure compliance with health regulations regarding food safety and hygiene. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Experience with cash handling and phone etiquette is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
