The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional guest services. Responsibilities Expo and deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Handle food items according to safety and sanitation standards, ensuring proper food handling practices. Support the culinary team with food preparation tasks as required. Engage with guests to provide excellent service and address any inquiries or concerns. Qualifications Previous experience in a upscale restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays of food and beverages safely. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
