The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant’s quality standards. Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed, including food handling and bussing tables. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Support culinary staff during busy periods by assisting with various tasks as required. Adhere to all food safety regulations and practices. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Basic knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation techniques is a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to providing excellent customer service and enhancing guest satisfaction. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting trays of food and standing for extended periods.
