Job description These positions assume responsibility for preparing or assisting in preparation, cooking, and serving of a variety of foods in an elementary or secondary school food service program. You will utilize our online/phone system to select the days and schools of your choice, where assistance is needed. Some experience and knowledge of quantity food preparation and use of equipment used in quantity food preparation. Must be willing and able to:

• Lift and carry items or objects weighing up to 50 pounds and up to 55 pounds with assistance
• Withstand a wide range of temperatures (hot, non-air-conditioned environment and freezer)
• Stand for longs periods of time
• Use cleaning chemicals
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment
• Part-time (3.75 hours/day)
• On call, as needed basis
• Required to work at various schools within the area
