POSITION OVERVIEW A

Server in a facility is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the establishment by providing excellent customer service, taking and delivering orders accurately and promptly, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Set up Buffet items listed on the BEO and serve them at scheduled meal periods. Follow Zenput opening & closing checklists to stay on task. Maintain the overall cleanliness & presentation of the cafeteria.

This includes the:

in front of and behind the buffet service line, beverage station, all dining room tables & chairs, all napkin holders, condiments, and plants on the tables, snack & beverage fridges, snack table in the back. Restock any needed beverages and snacks in both the cafeteria & dorm fridges. Keep an eye out for proper labeling on all snacks & for any expired product that may need to be thrown away.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have an active food handlers card. Must have food safety skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Team player with good communication skills. Flexibility to working hours, as event schedules require. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred and considered a plus. Must be friendly, reliable, and punctual.
