The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are processed efficiently and accurately, facilitating communication between the kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for customer service and hospitality who thrive in a dynamic environment. Duties Coordinate the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery of meals. Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure all food handling standards are met. Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed. Support customer service efforts by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Collaborate with catering teams during events to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food presentation and quality before it leaves the kitchen to ensure high standards are upheld. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in roles related to kitchen operations or customer service, is preferred. Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interactions between team members and guests. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others within a team-oriented environment. Experience in hospitality or catering settings is advantageous but not required.
