In this role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests in a hotel setting. You will ensure that the breakfast area is well-maintained, stocked, and welcoming, while also engaging with guests to enhance their dining experience. Duties Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Serve breakfast items, including coffee, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes, while adhering to dietary guidelines. Maintain inventory of food items and supplies; restock as necessary throughout service. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns. Handle guest relations with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist in catering events as needed, providing support for larger gatherings or special requests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding food preparation and guest preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and cleanliness. Experience Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Ability to prepare coffee and other beverages efficiently. Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations. Experience as a dietary aide or cook can be beneficial in understanding food preparation needs. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and team members effectively.
