Busser Sallie’s bistro 2152 Main Street, Dunedin, FL 34698 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Work hours:
Tuesday through Saturday 5pm – 9pm The Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both the kitchen staff and patrons. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy helping others, we would love to have you on board. Duties Assist servers by clearing tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area. Help set up tables for new guests, including placing utensils, napkins, and condiments as needed. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by sweeping or mopping floors and wiping down surfaces. Support kitchen staff with food handling tasks, including restocking supplies as necessary. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Assist in catering events as required, helping to set up and break down service areas. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and cleanliness. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests. Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team atmosphere.
