Food Runner/ kitchen helper Curry Element 1855 South Us Highway 17-92, Longwood, FL 32750 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with setting up and breaking down banquet events, ensuring all food service areas are clean and organized. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries. Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Help in the kitchen as needed, including assisting cooks with food preparation tasks. Provide exceptional guest services by responding promptly to requests or concerns. Skills Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with banquet service operations is a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the team. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling techniques.
