The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional food service during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting guests with their dining needs. Responsibilities Prepare and present breakfast items according to established standards. Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet, ensuring all food items are fresh and appealing. Operate cash register for guest transactions, handling cash and credit card payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, countertops, and serving stations. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests related to the breakfast menu. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of breakfast supplies and report any shortages. Experience Previous experience in food service or catering is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, including cooking and meat cutting skills. Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist guests effectively. Knowledge of coffee preparation and serving is beneficial. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
