• Statesboro, GA Department Information Dining Commons Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Dining Commons as a Dining Room Attendant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2025.

The Student Dining Room Attendant plays a key role in ensuring a clean, welcoming, and organized dining environment for students, faculty, and staff. This position involves maintaining dining areas, assisting guests, and working as part of a team to provide a great dining experience. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities
Greet and assist guests in the dining area
Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and dining spaces regularly
Wipe down the front of food stations and counters
Restock utensils, napkins, and condiments
Sweep, mop, and maintain floors for safety and cleanliness
Empty trash and recycling bins as needed
Clear trays and organize dish return areas
Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Follow university and health regulation safety and sanitation procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors Shift Specifics Minimum 15 hours per week, up to 25 hours
