• Statesboro, GA Department Information Eagle Dining Services Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Eagles Dining as a Student Dishroom Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2025.

The Student Dishroom Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the dishroom, ensuring dining areas remain stocked with clean dishes and utensils. This role is an essential part of the dining team, contributing to a smooth and sanitary dining experience for students and staff. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities
Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes and utensils
Properly sort, rinse, and load dishes into dish machines
Maintain cleanliness of dishroom, floors, and workstations
Dispose of trash and food waste in designated areas
Assist in restocking clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines as required by the university and health regulations
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Assist team members and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors Shift Specifics Minimum 15 hours, up to 25 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability

• 10:00 PM Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University
  Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience Previous experience in food service or dishwashing is a plus but not required
  Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team setting
  Proposed Salary $10.
