The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage assists the Director in managing the food and beverage department of the hotel to include food preparation, foodservice, banquet/catering sales and service functions, and lounge service so as to maintain established operational standards and maximize profits of the hotel. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to, participating in developing menus; monitoring budget and financial statements; ensuring the efficiency and effective operations of the Restaurant, Banquets, and Culinary departments; and guaranteeing guest satisfaction is consistently obtained. The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience leading an restaurant/hotel food and beverage team at a large resort; be a great communicator; and is an effective leader in developing team members while being available as needed including some weekends and evenings. Additional preferred qualifications include at least three (3) years of experience working with Agyllis, Oracle, Toast, or equivalent POS restaurant system.
