SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a reliable Food Service Worker to join our excellent and fun-loving team at a private day school in Baton Rouge, LA. Here, you’ll join a team dedicated to creating scratch-cooked meals that are not only exciting and nutritious but also sustainable. We provide continuous training to enable you to rise within our organization.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 5 a.m. – 2 p.m. Occasionally work catering events and evenings or weekends with advance notice

What you’ll do:
Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.
What you’ll need:
Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
