  • Full-Time & Part-Time positions available @ Holiday Inn Express & Suites Thibodaux Great restaurant memories come from many places, the sights, sounds, scents and as importantly the food.

As a Breakfast Attendant, you’ll welcome our guests, recommend food and drink and help keep service on-track and up to standard. By tailoring each guest’s experience to their unique tastes, you’ll create memories as delightful as the dishes. By taking pride in your workspace, you will ensure quality service and standards are maintained to deliver a memorable guest experience. In your role, you will report directly to the Breakfast Supervisor and General Manager.

Job Duties:

Assist Supervisor in ensuring all food and beverage equipment is in operational condition and regularly cleaned. Notify engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs. Ensure all food is out and ready prior to opening time and monitor food during service to make sure no items get too low. Replenish low items as soon as possible so the line is never empty and always looks inviting. Help create a safe space by following our safety procedures and wearing necessary protective equipment. Be cleaner than clean

  • meet or exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws and ensure breakfast area is always clean both prior to and after breakfast service.

Handle all kitchen duties such as washing up, cleaning, taking out the trash, washing dishes, cleaning and any other kitchen duties when needed. Give guests a better experience by helping with any queries or advice. Attend to guests at their tables to check on them as well as removing and disposing of empty dishes and trash to provide a true restaurant experience. Wear your uniform with pride. Achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals. Help guests with their requests and complaints

  • making sure you maintain a high level of guest satisfaction. Make sure food and drinks are secure and stored safely always following policies & procedures. Assist with inventory procedures as needed. Report any low stock items to Supervisor. Take on other ad-hoc duties when the whole team needs to pull together. Requirements Strong
  • sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). This can involve bending and kneeling. Literate
  • you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths. Flexible
  • morning, weekend, and holiday shifts are all part of the job. Compliant
  • as well as meeting local laws on food handling, you’ll be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language. Articulate
