Driving Range Food and Beverage Attendant Job Summary:

The Driving Range Food & Beverage Attendant is a multi-faceted role that combines elements of customer service, food and beverage operations, and golf facility support. This position ensures an exceptional guest experience by handling range ball sales, food and beverage service, and maintaining the driving range’s cleanliness and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

o Greet all members and guests warmly and by name whenever possible. o Assist members and guests with range ball purchases, food and beverage orders, and questions regarding facility services. o Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating to the supervisor when necessary.

Food & Beverage Operations:

o Prepare and serve beverages, including beer, wine, and cocktails, adhering to state and local liquor laws. o Maintain accurate inventory of food and beverage items, ensuring freshness and quality. o Prepare and set up beverages, including ensuring coffee is made and available as needed. o Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system for food, beverage, and range ball sales, handling cash and credit transactions accurately. o Ensure the register and safe are accurately counted and reconciled at the beginning and end of each shift, promptly reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor. o Maintain cleanliness and organization of food and beverage areas, including trash removal, equipment cleaning, and ensure floors in both customer and employee areas are vacuumed and mopped regularly. o Restock supplies, including snacks, beverages, condiments, and garnishes. Notify food and beverage management promptly when inventory levels are low to ensure timely replenishment.

Driving Range Operations:

o Set up and maintain lounging areas by placing cushions on furniture, ensuring cleanliness throughout the day, properly positioning umbrellas, arranging cornhole boards in designated areas while checking their condition, and ensuring all signs are placed in their appropriate locations. o Assist with the pickup of ball baskets as needed. o Check that the Top Tracer screens are running operational and ensure that music and tvs are turned on and running throughout the day. o Ensure compliance with club rules and assist guests with adhering to dress codes and beverage policies. o Ensure compliance with club rules and assist guests with adhering to dress codes and beverage policies.

Facility Maintenance:

o Maintain cleanliness, visual presentation, and organization of the driving range and related areas. o Inspect and report any mechanical or safety issues with range equipment. o Rotate inventory for freshness, ensuring the quality of all products served.

General Duties:

o Attend pre-shift meetings as requested by supervisors. o Maintain compliance with all club policies, state and federal laws, and operating procedures, particularly regarding alcohol service and safety standards. o Assist with special projects or additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of one year of cash handling experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of golf operations and etiquette preferred.
• Proficient in using a computerized point-of-sale system and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience in food and beverage or hospitality is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to [weight] lbs. for extended periods.
