NORTHAMPTON
Dining Room Coordinator Dining Room Coordinators work either9 or 12-month schedules. These are 40hr/week, fully benefited positions.

MinimumQualifications:
Completion of high school education or vocational schooleducation and a minimum 2 years of combined educational and/orcommercial experience in the hospitality industry. Ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing and perform basicarithmetic functions. Banquet waitperson experience or front of thehouse experience in a fine dining establishment as well as experience incustomer service positions. ServSafe Certification/Some culinaryexperience preferred. Requirements of the position are consistent withthe responsibilities and duties of persons within the food serviceprofession in adherence with all state and federal guidelines.
Skills:
Ability to tolerate exposure to water and cleaning chemicals, higherthan normal noise levels, and heat and humidity consistent with thatproduced by commercial kitchen equipment. Must demonstrate adequatephysical strength and coordination to effectively clean and receivesupplies while properly utilizing standard food service utensils andequipment. Must be able to safely lift and move 25 pounds, work from astep stool, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, reach,pull and push. Must be able to manipulate utensils and equipmentrepetitively for variable periods of time – up to 45% of an assignedshift. Must be mobile between work stations and other dining areas oncampus. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Must possess goodvision with or without correction. Must practice good personal hygieneand wear clean uniforms in compliance with public health standards andconsistent with college policy. Must obtain the following certificationswithin one year of hiring and stay current with Serv-Safe, FoodAllergen, and Anti-Choke. Must adhere to the sustainability initiativesset by the department.
