Overview:

We’re seeking a proactive, results-driven cafe assistant manager who approaches our coffee shop like a family small business (because that is what it is, and we’re looking for someone to join our family). You’ll passionately lead the team along with another assistant manager, drive profitability, optimize operations, and work side-by-side in building our café into a local destination. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations & P&L Management Own weekly/monthly P&L performance—track revenue, labor, COGS, and margins. Develop financial forecasts, set targets, and implement corrective actions. Inventory & Cost Control Maintain par levels, oversee ordering, monitor stock, and reduce shrinkage. Use Excel to build ordering templates, cost analyses, and usage reports. Maintain strong vendor relationships Leadership & Team Development Hire, train, coach, and mentor staff—cultivate high‑performance culture. Set expectations, conduct regular feedback sessions, foster accountability. Lead & inspire a rockstar team: Coach baristas, promote collaboration, and foster a fun, customer-first environment. Efficient Scheduling & Labor Management Design flexible staff schedules to match business rhythms and minimize labor cost. Monitor staffing levels and adjust in real time based on demand.

Required Skills & Experience:
