Food Services Assistant 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 159 Old Bar Harbor Road, Bar Harbor, ME 04609 Food Services Ass i stant The MDI Biological Laboratory seeks a highly motivated seasonal Food Services Assistant to support all food service needs as planned for institutional courses, conferences, and events. As a member of the food service team, the successful candidate will report to the Head Cook. The seasonal Food Services Assistant will provide support in food preparation and cooking, service, and maintaining kitchen and dining areas across the MDI Biological Lab campus. Applicants can choose from for a variety of work schedules (40 hours per week). Expected employment is immeaditely thru September 30, 2025. Required qualifications include Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety practices; basic knife skills, and the demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to guests and staff. Willingness to become Serve Safe certified.

Salary Range:

$16 – $18/hour. Campus housing options available and can be discussed at time of interview. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
