Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques. Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute meal preparation efficiently. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including cooking stations and storage areas. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Provide support to dietary aides and other kitchen staff as required. Participate in training new kitchen employees on cooking techniques and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Cook in the culinary or food service industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and kitchen safety practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
