THE JOB:

As the Assistant Pool Bar & Café Manager, you will be responsible for daily operations of Pool Bar & Cafe. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests; coach and train on policies, procedures, and performance. Supervise cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing are maintained by service staff as well as manage activities; means of access and egress, to ensure complete compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshall Regulations. Directly communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu issues. Assist in seasonal menu changes and holiday menu changes. Ordersupplies through the IP System and Purchasing. Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation. Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly. Direct communication with guests forspecial requests and large party reservations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Must have 2+ years of relevant experience in supervising or assisting in managing bar, café, or restaurants operations in a hotel, resort, or poolside setting.
